If your vehicle has incurred minor damage and is still roadworthy, we still carry out a similar process to matters where a vehicle incurred extensive damage.  Steer Safe instructs an Independent Motor Vehicle Assessor to inspect your vehicle. The Assessor will inspect your vehicle at a suitable premises (i.e. home/place of work) at a time that suits you. Following this, the Assessor compiles a report of the damage incurred and agrees on repair costings with either an approved Steer Safe repairer or a repairer of your choosing. Once the repairer is ready to take your vehicle in, Steer Safe provides you with a like-for-like replacement vehicle until the repair process finishes.
